So today's blog is a little bit about me, my background, and why I am doing this to myself... I mean... why I'm choosing to be a writer.
First of all I am into the arts and I'm studying an arts and humanities degree, specialising in creative writing and philosophy. I did 2 years of an arts and humanities degree previous, specialising in community development. It was only when I got made redundant that I decided to revoke my passion for the arts side.
I enjoy blogging, writing novels, short stories and plays. I first started to blog two, maybe three years ago, and I've just had the bug to write ever since.
I've decided that my passion is in the mystery and suspense genres and I focus my writing in those areas. If anybody asks what is my genre Is, I can now say I am a mystery and suspense writer, but it was actually quite hard to define my writing genre because I wanted to write about anything and anything!
My first book is one part of five, but you will learn more about that in the following days.
This year I have finished one novel, three short stories, two plays and I have a list of others to complete.
I am serious about a writing career and have worked hard to develop my writing platforms, and I believe I have become an exceptional writer.
I AM dyslexic, but so what....It won't stop me from writing.
The countdown is on...the excitement is building. Take a breath...you are a published author. To me, that's a serious writing career.
