How it would work:
- I would post pictures of the item (something shippable) here on steemit.
- Bidding would start at 1 Steem, and you can bid on it in the comments.
- After 24 hours, The top bid gets the item
- I'll Notify you in the comments that you've won the item, you would send me the Steem
- You contact me through my publicly posted private messaging app or email (haven't decided which yet) with your address.
- I will ship you the item.
I would probably start with my old comics. I have some winners and losers in there. Might do batches of them.
My question to you is which Messaging app do people use?
It would be fun to see this tried. Make sure you figure out some ground rules for shipping. We've got an international community here and you wouldn't want someone paying you $2 in Steem only to find out shipping is going to be $15!

I tried it with a hat earlier this week. That didn't pan out. The sell price was inflated to the point i was confidant i could afford to ship it anywhere i could legally ship it, but i think the execution was flawed in several ways. If you would check out those posts and leave any insights or suggestions you have i would greatly appreciate it as i still think it's a great idea.
