Tip #1: Learn to Format a Book
It's important for authors to learn to format, as it is one of the most overlooked steps for publishing and marketing your book.
If you have a poorly formatted book, you create a poor reader experience. That is why I created this master guide on the subject that will help you get the best out of your formatting. Check it out here.
Tip #2: Use All Your Book Categories
With a category hunter tool like this one, you can easily find all the categories that your book can rank for. Once you know that, you can get Amazon to add your book to up to 10 of all those many categories, and that will help your book have more visibility.
Tip #3: Find Readers in Your Genre
One of the good ways to do this is to write content on your website that your readers will like. If you do this well, you can use search engine optimization to attract those readers so they find your post. From there, you can help them find your book, as long as it's similar to the content you're sharing. For example, if you have a science fiction book, you might consider creating content like this.
Tip #4: Create Helpful Guides
If you're an author, you want to help your readers find what they might like. One way to do this is to create helpful guides that are related to your niche. For example, imagine if you wrote superhero fiction. A great way to serve your audience would be to put together a timeline like this one.
Those are my tips for today. Check back for more in the future!
