📷 Great aviation festival in the Kuban

Hello, my dearest friends! Blue spaces beckon with their infinity, and the dream to conquer the heavens has long become a reality for many. Nowadays, the sky has become one of the most important areas where protection is required. It is these tasks that are primarily performed by the Russian air force.

Yesterday, in honor of the 80th anniversary of one of the leading aviation universities of the country - the Krasnodar school of pilots, many residents and guests of the Kuban capital were able to see the heavenly pirouettes of the legendary group "Swifts".

Krasnodar flight school in its history "inspired" 27 thousand specialists. Such outstanding pilots as Vladimir Komarov, Victor Gorbatko, Evgeny Khrunov, Georgy Shonin, studied in the walls of this University.

Of course, almost everyone has heard about the legendary aerobatic team "Swifts", which demonstrated the brightest maneuvers in the sky over Krasnodar.

The flight crew worked out a program of aerobatics on the afterburner mode of the engines, as well as a program of group aerobatics with the restructuring into various figures: "arrow", "envelope", "star", "mirror", "counter dissolution", "Tulip" and others.

At the airport there was no place to fall and an Apple. People flooded almost every meter of open space, everyone wanted to see this enchanting show.

Flights on this day took place at altitudes from 100 to 1500 meters, with the minimum interval and the distance between the aircraft in dense combat formations varied up to one meter.

I was able to make a small video in which the "Swifts" for the MiG-29 perform Nesterov loop or "loop".

I was not prepared for the rapid thrusters and coups, so most of the clips failed. But some moments of this Grand show presentation were quite successful in the photo.

Work in the aerobatic team is an accurate calculation, excellent knowledge of technology and aerodynamics, good sports training and the desire to fly like a bird.

About 10 thousand people came to the airfield. We were even a little taken aback when we approached the entrance to the aviation school (I will tell you more about it).

On the main alley constantly moving endless parade of people.

In the lens and then got the guests hurrying to the air presentation :-)

Excellent pictures from the aviation show that Kuban @Singa
Lovely photos of the formation flight with fast aeroplanes, and your excellent writing about this aviation show.
It was a remarkable 80th anniversary for Krasnodar flight school.
When I read your story about the outstanding flyers, I remember the name of Vladimir Komarov.
I carefully followed the cosmonauts from the Soviet Union and the astronauts from the United States at that time. There was a moon race between these countries in the sixties.
Vladimir Komarov was the captain of Vostok1 in 1964, the first satellite with more than a cosmonaut.
Three years later in 1967, I read in the papers about the tragic accident with Vladimir Komarov onboard Sojuz1 where the parachute lines mixed together so that the capsule crashed against the ground. A sad and fatal accident.
