2020 Steemit Awards – My Nominations

Following are my nominations for the “Best Contributor to the Community” and the "Best Community."

Best Contributor to the Community

Choosing the “Best Contributor to the Community” is not the easiest task, since there are many amazing leaders putting much effort into their communities. For many of us, however, the standout “Best Contributor” is @Crypto.Piotr

Having been on Steemit for over 3 years, I’ve kept an eye on various projects and communities. But more and more, I find myself making time to check out Project.HOPE (PH), which was initiated by Piotr. He is always coming up with new and interesting initiatives – initiatives which bring more life and energy into the growing PH community.

Furthermore, Piotr focuses his support on active users who have been struggling with lack of rewards and exposure. In doing so, he is always trying to achieve win-win goals.

Best Community

Without a doubt, my nomination for "Best Community" is the Project.HOPE community. (https://steemit.com/trending/hive-175254)

In the past few weeks alone, there have been over 200 publications posted within PH. The vast majority of those posts were of fine quality. Under the leadership of @Crypto.Piotr, they welcome new authors posting within PH and explain community goals and vision. Moreover, the entire core team has done a great job removing (muting) spam or low-quality posts.

PH also managed to build a very interesting economy, in which all authors share part of their rewards (20–30% beneficiary) with the community fund. Those resources are being used to reward core team members for the work they do for the community (such as fighting plagiarism and spam, as well as promoting the community).

PH covers topics related to technology, blockchain, economy, business, psychology, social media, and other related topics.
