National Missing Children’s Day
In observance of National Missing Childrens Day on Saturday, May 25, 2019, the FBI is highlighting kidnapped and missing children across the country. In 1983, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed May 25th as National Missing Children’s Day. Most of those cases are going to be children that are lost or have run away or that were taken by somebody they know. And those children may or may not be in danger. Though, the FBI sees cases in which children are missing for more sinister reasons. Children may be kidnap into sex trafficking or other types of exploitation.
For the national Missing Childrens Day this Saturday, May 25, 2019, help bring children home. The FBI has dedicated resources for investigations into missing and exploited children, and we join the nation as it observes National Missing Children’s Day. If anyone has information regarding their whereabouts, please contact your local FBI office or @MissingKids
