AD and Azure AD

When I first started looking into access control and security in a corporate network, I came across Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). The differences between these solutions seemed confusing at first, but an article on https://blackthorn-vision.com/blog/active-directory-vs-azure-ad/ helped me put everything on the shelves. Active Directory, as I learned, is a time-tested technology for on-premises networks. It does a great job of managing users, groups, and access to resources within a corporate infrastructure. However, in the era of cloud solutions, this is no longer enough, especially when it comes to working with remote teams and SaaS applications. Azure AD, on the other hand, is a step into the future. It is ideal for hybrid or fully cloud environments. I was impressed by its capabilities: centralized access management to cloud services, support for single sign-on (SSO), and deep integration with Microsoft 365. Thanks to this, our team was able to increase productivity and simplify processes.
