tall shrubby multistemmed plant densely ornamented with small white flowers, it can be maintained at a reasonable height by removing a fraction of the heavier stems each year. The wood is dense, hard, and strong. There are specimens in the Stanford Avenue greenbelt opposite Peter Coutts Road.
