Hello! friends am happy to be in this class,can l proceed to share all that l learnt.
Firstly, bread 🍞 is a staple food prepared by baking dough of flour and water.lt is an old food worldwide, the raw materials required for bread making are all-purpose flour, sugar, margarine, salt, water, milk, egg, nutmeg, yeast, and they are all easy to get in my country Nigeria.

The equipment required for bread making are dough mixer, oven, knife, kneading/working table, bread pan/tray.
THE TYPE OF DOUGH AM INTERESTING AND WHY.
SWEET DOUGH:-Am interested On sweet dough because it can be use on variety of desserts.
And because of the sugar content, once the dough is mixed the next stage is to develop the gluten, then gluten makes the dough nice and stretchy so that when the yeast eats the sugars in the dough and breathe out or puff out carbon dioxide that gas can get catch in air bubbles and the gluten can expand and stretch.
Am interesting because in nutrition there is this combination we called the 5-star dirt.
So the sweet dough has at least 4-star in the sense that it can be taking as food.
Lastly, the appearance looks good.
MAKING A SWEET BREAD WITH THE INGREDIENTS AND RECIPE BELOW
Flour -250g
Yeast- 7g
Egg- 2 pieces(1 for the dough and 1 for egg washing)
Margarine -30g(25g for the dough while 5g is for the greasing of the bread pan)
Sugar - 125g
Cold water 3.5ml
Nutmeg 1g
Salt- 25g
SETTING -UP THE DOUGH
I washed my hands, covered my hair, and put on my apron, then l poured the flour into a mixing bowl and all dry ingredients:-sugar, nutmeg, salt, except yeast together and mix with dough mixer,,then add margarine,egg and cold water mix for 3 minutes and then add yeast knead for 7 minutes ,
Remove from the mixer to the working table then cut and mould and then put on the greesed oven tray and allow to proof for 45min and after load inside the oven to bake with 180degree for 25minutes.

- Pre-heat the oven
- Baking
- Cooling
- Eating.
MY EXPERIENCE MAKING SWEET DOUGH
I noticed that mixing with a dough mixer takes a lesser time than manual and also my dough was fluffy and smooth.
I have no complications because I used scale to measure and it was accurate.
My finished product came out well .
