Hello friends, how are you all? I am very happy to participate in the engagement challenge SLC-S22W2 |Bakery Course: Types of Dough and Creating Sweet Bread. First of all, I would like to thank @yenny47 who brought this baking course for us. My knowledge about baking is very limited. Still, I tried to answer every question and make a beautiful sweet bun. So, without further ado, let's start.

🥐Of the types of dough presented in class, which one do you find most interesting and why?

In this class, our teacher explained to us the details of each dough. I like all the doughs. It is very delicious to eat. Moreover, a lot of butter is used while making it. It is made by folding the dough several times. Due to the large amount of butter, it is very crispy to eat.

🥐Make a sweet bread, you can be guided by the recipe given in class or try another, but it must be sweet without filling of any kind, IF you can decorate with whatever you want on top (candied fruits, chocolates, grated coconut, sugar, etc) Document the step by step, and put on a poster date, user and the label of the class

Ingredients
500 grams of all-purpose flour (leave 50gms for sprinkling and 10gm to activate the yeast)
150 grams of sugar (90 grams for the dough, 10 grams for the yeast and 50 grams for dusting)
3 eggs
45 grams of butter (35 grams for dough and 10 grams for greasing the mold)
10 grams of yeast
150 milliliters warm milk (75 milliliters for yeast and 75 milliliters for dough)
5 grams salt

STEP1

To activate the yeast, I mixed 75 ml of lukewarm milk with one teaspoon of sugar and one teaspoon of flour. Then I covered it and kept it in a warm place for 15 minutes to activate the yeast. After 15 minutes, the yeast had risen beautifully. As per our teacher's instructions, I saw that bubbles were appearing on the surface of the yeast.

To make the sweet bun dough, first I washed my hands. Then I mixed the flour with sugar. I mixed all the ingredients, eggs, salt, and yeast, and kneaded them well with my hands. At this stage, the dough was very sticky.

I sprinkled a little flour on the table to set the sticky dough. Then I kneaded the dough well. I want to see how you showed me how to make a soft dough by kneading the dough well with my hands repeatedly. As a result of kneading it repeatedly with my hands, a very nice soft dough was made. Then I put the dough in a bowl, sprinkled with flour, and covered it for an hour. If you let it rest for 1 hour, the dough will swell and double in size.

You can see in the picture that my dough has doubled in size. Then I took a ball of dough and sprinkled light flour on the table and flattened it. Then, according to the technique shown by our teacher, I folded the dough and made a beautiful ball. I made all the balls in the same way.

After making small balls with the dough, I covered them for 30 minutes. Covering them will help the buns to double in size. When the buns have risen, I brushed the egg on them and sprinkled sugar on top. Then I baked the buns for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, I took them out of the oven. The buns had a very beautiful color. I wrote my ID name, today's date, and the name of the course on a piece of paper as per the rules. I took a selfie with my sweet bun in my hand.

🥐Tell your experience when making sweet bread, did you have any complications, who would you recommend the recipe to and why?

If I talk about the experience of making sweet bread, I would say that it was a very beautiful and wonderful experience. My understanding of baking is very limited. Here, I tried to make sweet bread according to the way our teacher explained it beautifully. I followed our teacher's complete recipe while making the bread. So I did not have any difficulty. I would like to recommend this sweet bread recipe to @yaumilahya. She likes to eat sweet foods.

I find it very difficult to make bread at home. Moreover, it takes a lot of time to make a perfect bread. But this sweet bread can be bought from outside very easily and at a reasonable price. Normally, four sweet breads cost 20 taka. Eight sweet breads cost 40 taka. It's better to buy them very easily at a low price and eat them without going through all the trouble of making bread.

Muy buenos tus panes tienes la idea de hacerlos solo que si amasas más verás un mejor resultado en tu masa y sobre todo en tus panes
