This is basically PS1 era advertisement for Tamiya 4WD miniature kits. When I was young and going to school, my friends would talk about "Tamiya cars" some of the time. And yes that is the slang term children gave to refer to Tamiya 4WD where I come from.
So my friends would go to a hobby shop after school, to test out their configuration on the Tamiya track that is setup infront of the shop. Asking me to tag along as well just for show really since I didn't own a Tamiya 4WD model kit and wasn't very interested.
But one of my friend did pass me some of his spare parts that he wasn't going to use anymore, so I was thinking why not buy one kit at the shop next time I'm there.
I dabble from time to time after that so still wasn't hardcore or anything. But this game is just awesome If you can get past the language barrier.
It has dualshock controller support so the left analog stick for driving, dpad for the menu/interface and the L1/R2 buttons for hard turning left or right. You can customize many parts of your Tamiya car like the motor, spoiler, batteries, etc before a race.
It's a very fun game actually so give it a go if you haven't already.
