Barefooting, Almost

in barefooting •  6 years ago

The days are really warm already. I've spent the whole day running around in shorts and a t-shirt. Yet, the ground is not warm enough to be able to walk barefoot which I do most of the time in the summer.

Imagine walking barefoot on a warm ground in a forest like this.

It's natural!

The next best thing to walking barefoot is to wear minimalistic shoes. Like these.

These almost-not-shoes come from Finland. They are at least ten years old yet they still function like new.

The brand is Feelmax and the model is Niesa. Nowadays the manufacture has progressed a lot and a current model in this line looks like this.

Quite a difference.

Now, read next lines very carefully.

The sole is one millimeter thin.

The outer sole is half a millimeter of kevlar enhanced rubber.

The inner sole is half a millimeter of felt.

That's it!

Believe me, you can feel every twig and every pebble.

It's great!

Look how flexible the shoes are.

You can get more minimalistic in the shoes department than this.

Feelmax Nieasa is the ideal in-between shoe before the real barefooting starts.

Better and better

I'm a minimal kinda gal, too! Merrell is my favorite brand still. I haven't quite gone barefoot, though. Unless I'm at the beach! 😉

That's great to hear, bravo.

Yes, I own two pairs of Merrell glove shoes too.

Well, in high summer at the sandy beaches ... you have to sprint over if barefoot to avoid getting burned :)

Have a great Easter weekend.

Too aggressive for my poor feet ...but I like it

Common, this is far better than pounding your feet round in round out in some high tech shoes on the tartan :)

Hahaha! I’m not totally sure about 😂😂

Does not matter how unfitted you are, just gently start running....
