At the Mariner's game last night Trudi Inslee, wife of Washington State governor Jay Inslee, threw out the ceremonial first pitch, with two children at her side, and Nelson Cruz at the plate to catch the pitch. I have to say this is a nice perk of being the Washington State First Lady. Ms. Inslee grew up in an athletic family, with her father the golf coach at the University of Washington and is a golfer herself. You go Trudi.
