What Happened When Liberia Tested a Pilot Program of Unconditional Cash Transfers to the Extreme Poor?

Ubi sounds great in concept but... Its socialism. Look at what happend in venezuela. Everything was great til the oil collapsed, and now its a disaster.
Someone has to pay for the income, and thats the problem. Diluting the money supply to give money to the people does not work, and so I really am afraid of this idea.

It's hard to blame what's happening in Venezuela on Socialism. The country is essentially under economic attack. There are many from Venezuela that post on Steemit, and investigative reports with undercover cameras have shown that corporatist institutions are simply not stocking certain items, like toilet paper.

While that might seem an insignificant item, the various products that are being deliberately held from market are designed to be maximally annoying, and to affect as broad a market as possible. Add in some agents provocateur and a government that lost it's personality figurehead when Chavez died, stir, and enjoy your chaos!
