Trickle-Down Economics Must Die, Long Live Grow-Up Economics: The myth of inequality-driven economic growth and how to achieve real prosperity for all with UBI

The only issue I have with the BIG is that it is by nature inflationary. It decouples the dollar from labor. I and other MMT advocates prefer a jobs guarantee. It couples the dollar to a unit of labor, ends involuntary unemployment, and allows for labor to be used to further the public purpose.

Describe how a JG helps everyone with a disability.

Describe how JG compensates every single form of unpaid work being done.

By the way, I think you mean inflationary not inflammatory, and no that is absolutely incorrect. Read the link in this post about that exact concern.

It's very simple: those without any capacity to work can still receive a BIG. However, I think you don't understand that job guarantee advocates actually want to redefine the idea of 'work'. For so long, we define work as something that creates a profit. Instead, think of job guarantee work as something that helps society in general. Childcare, infrastructure improvement, environmental cleanup, etc.
