There is an overwhelming majority of blogs that fail on steemit. there are plenty of reasons for that but lets just leave it for another post. In this post I'm going to talk about what you can do to become successful on steemit. So Lets dive right into it.

1. Think about your Audience
First and foremost thing is that you need to try to become as helpful and resourceful as possible because people want you to talk about them and solve their problems and not to just talk about yourself.

So basically if you want more people to see and appreciate your posts focus on the people and not the traffic you're getting.

2. Create Good Content
This is the most important thing to keep in mind. Create really good content to attract really good audience.

Put time energy into your posts.

Write shorter posts.

Be a resource.

Be funny. Be Clever.

Even if you make a meager amount from your first posts you never know which one will go viral. But you won't know until you actually create content. Keep trying until you get the desired results.

3. Write attractive Titles
Draw in more and more readers by writing a great title and effectively communicating what you are talking about.

4. Get Attention of the Whales
Get the attention of the whales. A whale on Steemit is somebody who has a lot of influence.

For example, if someone has some million dollars in their steem wallet. This person can put hundreds of dollars in people's account instantly.

How do you get their attention?
Well you get their attention by putting a really good post out there and having the right people steem and re-steem it. So create really good content and get the whales on your side.

5. Post Consistently
Consistency is the key.

Be as consistent as possible.

Post Daily or at least set a schedule of posting 2 to 3 times a week.
