What is the most interesting aspect to see?

So, I am wondering what is of the most interest to see here? Is it WIP's, thumbnail sketches, just finished work, all of the above? So far I have only posted finished work but if anyone has feedback I am open to hearing what you have to say? I have some sketch covers coming up (Batman, Darth Vader and Jeff Hardy aka brother Nero) a full color Batman piece and a Death (from Sandman) piece. Thanks!

I like to see the artistic process. Some people here post their sketches. I also enjoy seeing the finished works and some of them are doing regular series, e.g. a page each week. I follow a few of these and support them. It can really be anything. See what works

thanks for the feedback!

So steemit is a long form social media site meaning any narration you can add to a piece of artwork (explaining the process, what its for, who it is, etc) is typically well received and will do better than a picture of finished work by itself.

I personally love to see it all. An artist myself I love seeing peoples process. Even with my silly doodles and jokes. I've done fairly well just by networking and formatting posts well.

I wish someone would have told me this when I started here. Good advice!

Also common tags you probably could use are art/drawing/comics and for this post in particular #asksteemit would be a good tag

Agreed with this. Also instead of #comicbook just use #comics

Sketches are generally well received, as well as tutorials that explain your step by step process.

I guess pretty much everything creatives do here are appreciated (if we can find it). Personally if you can impress the people at https://steemit.com/@steem-comic-con then I think it would be pretty good for me :)

Hi sir,

I would like to know how u get urself into the comic scenes, especially how u get urself into business with Marvel...i believe there's many artist around the world would like to know...:)

Well, maybe aside of telling us the story/history..u can attach some of ur early works, maybe some portfolios that make Marvel accept u as their artist. Maybe u can tell us whats the criteria to work in Marvel, the challenges, etc...:)

I am a nut over unpurchasable/unsellable arts. Mashups, teamups from competing companies. For example, recently on Twitter Todd Nauck posted for a week a bunch of X-Men / Justice League mashups

Nightcrawler + Blue Beetle = NightBeetle https://twitter.com/ToddNauck/status/929045650263588864

Colossus + Captain Marvel = Captain Colossal https://twitter.com/ToddNauck/status/929421008125157376

Storm + Batman = BatStorm https://twitter.com/ToddNauck/status/930140041489162240

Rogue + Martian Manhunter = Martian Roguehunter https://twitter.com/ToddNauck/status/929756019999178752

Rachel Summers/Phoenix + Dr. Fate = The Phoenix Fate https://twitter.com/ToddNauck/status/930851960659443712

Cyclops + Guy Gardner, Green Lantern = Cyke Gardner, the Quartz Lantern (or “Guyclops”) https://twitter.com/ToddNauck/status/930484023507410944
