The incredibly tough job of being a Jack Daniel's BBQ Championship Judge!

As an avid backyard BBQ Pitmaster, Competitive BBQ Cook (having competed at the 1st ever Meatstock BBQ Competition in Auckland) and general foodie - I come across so many people who think that their combined love for BBQ & Jack Daniel's is enough to make the task of being an Official Jack Daniel's Judge one that they would thoroughly enjoy.

Well - in my experience, the only thing to be worried about is eating too much amazing low 'n' slow American style smoked Barbecue meats!

Pulled Pork, Smoked Chicken, Saucy BBQ Smoked Ribs and the real King of the Barbecue scene - the 14+ hour smoked Beef Brisket.

It's a tough job, but somebodies got to do it! Huge thanks to Jack Daniel's & The Australasian Barbecue Alliance - powering the NZ & World Jack Daniel's BBQ Championships - round 3 this weekend in Napier, New Zealand.
