📷 BeachWednesday: Chickens On The Beach In St. John US Virgin Islands

in beachwednesday •  7 years ago

These chickens seemed to be wild out on the beach on St. John US Virgin Islands.  They look like they would make a good meal!  Here is another picture of them.

I was lucky enough to camp on this beach for 2 nights.

This was a great area to do some snorkeling as well! All that training in the pool paid off!

I think I've heard of that beach where you can camp out. Haven't been to USVI yet but St. John would be my first place to go because so much of it is untouched. Maybe you could find out if those beach chickens are a protected species(!) or if you could cook one up. Then again, maybe the hard part is getting permission for a fire.

St. Johns was pretty interesting because there were all these goats just walking around like they owned the place too. Donkeys as well. It was really pretty crazy.

This one had a passenger!

Incredibly beautiful friend :-)
