Off the Pacific Coast, these barnacles were found in Yachats, Oregon. It was a great trip during low tide. We found lots of cool shells.
So many cool shells crash up on this part of the shore and get trapped in the tide pools. They are continuously beat across the rocks, as the tide pulls in and out of the pool. So many varieties and colors grace this scene, it is hard to believe the beauty before my own eyes.

Those close-up shots of the barnacles looked eerily alien. Like eggs of some alien creatures.
