Whether beard is a generally accepted style in the business world of men?

When it comes to growing facial hair, not every man has what it takes.

Carrying beard in the workplace or working environment, happily, begins to be a generally accepted style in the corporate world. Of course, as everywhere, there are always exceptions amongst those who will still be considered unprofessional or will only look at them as a transient trend of today's man.

But what in today's modern society are symbolized by the beard, that is, which are frequent, and often severely defective stereotypes, imposed by society, which can affect the business career of a bearded man.

Throughout history, men had to dress, behave, talk, and choose a style according to sex or gender. The history of beards is pretty extensive, but to get a better understanding of the social, cultural, visual and artistic importance of beards, I will share some of great bearded man in history

The Beard as a stereotype

Stereotype is usually an overly simplified perception or bias towards a person or group of people. And the common stereotypes about men with a beard are that they are lazy, lacking Bonton, and hygiene, or are at least unprofessional.

Did you know that stereotypes like these are the reasons why most politicians don't have a beard? Politicians believe that wearing beard would have a negative impact on the female population of their voting machine. So much about the character and attitudes of politicians :)

Another perception of society on bearded men draws roots in the correlation of the bearded appearance with increasing testosterone. The general assumption is that men with beard are more aggressive, due to increased testosterone levels. There is more and more evidence that people are connecting the beard with the physical strength of a man.

Unshaded hippies

For some reason in the wider society, there is a stereotype that beard man are unshaved hippies who enjoy marijuana, have no formal education, with no desire for a meaningful career. Of course, this is not the truth.

Not only today, but also through history, most of the encyclopedias of celebrities in almost all areas of life had and proudly carried their beard. So, another stereotype that was born out of the aversion or rejection (not to say fear) of the beard.

Beard man are hipsters

Once hippies, today hipsters. There are two elementary facts that challenge this stereotype. The first is that the beard existed before the hipster and the hipsters are those who accepted them as such in their lifestyle. hypsters are not the people who follow and live the trends, hipsters are trendseters, they define trends.

What the hipsters have done is that they took a completely normal style of men's life, which is the growing and tendance of the beard, and promoted it and made it a kind of trend.
The problem that arises when it comes to corporate and business life is that the average hipster persona is a sort of corporate man's antithesis and that's why some employers do not have too much confidence in employees who have a beard.

As beards become more and more popular among men, the corporate world itself becomes more tolerant of them, or less opposed to this increasingly popular style of visual expression.
Professionally or not, today is a completely missed topic in this context.
Beards are older than the oldest hipster, beards are older than the oldest corporation, so we simply have to accept them.
As the old Latin saying says : De gustibus non est disputandum

Beard suits you, at least in my eyes, although I would go next level if I were you and color it grey completely :D Like our singer Zeljko Samardzic, if you saw how he rocks it!
Nevertheless, some men can't grow it out, some have to shave every day so who are we to judge :)

what's a man without a beard?

As I already said and am happy to repeat as many times as necessary, people who do not wear beards are called women. :)
