Blackheads are of one of the peskiest things in the world, and it’s no easy feat getting rid of them. I’ve tried different face washes, creams…you name it! None of them really live up to their name. And while you CAN extract them one by one by hand, it’s not the most efficient OR hygienic way of getting rid of blackheads…you’ll only end up spreading more bacteria onto your face. So how to get rid of blackheads permanently?

When I tell you that I’ve tried everything, I honestly mean I tried EVERYTHING. From exfoliators, to pore strips, to different home remedies like cinnamon, baking soda, honey, tea, etc. But NONE even came CLOSE to removing AND keeping blackheads away like Vaseline did. That’s right gals – VASELINE!

How to Get Rid of Blackheads For Good

Using Vaseline to remove blackheads not only gets rid of them, but also prevents them from ever coming back!

What You’ll Need:

*Plastic wrap
*Vaseline
*Two wash cloths
*Tissues

How To:

First, I have to tell you that the best time to do this is right after you’ve gotten out of the shower. The heat from the water will have opened up your pores, making it that much easier for your blackheads to come out.

Apply a good amount of Vaseline to the affected area (most of the time it’s the nose!) and cover with plastic wrap. Grab your washcloths, and run them under warm/hot water. Wring them out, and apply them against the plastic wrap. Hold the washcloths against the wrap for about 5 minutes. Remove the plastic wrap and use the tissues to push out/remove the blackheads.

And voila! Do this treatment once a week, and within a month – no more blackheads! Make sure to keep your skin clean (use a good face wash!), and remember to remove your makeup before bed. I cannot stress this enough, but removing that makeup before bed makes a huge difference!
