I've seen people who looked beautiful at first and then within moments of getting to know them they became ugly. Beauty comes from within not from without and it does not have to be seen to find it. Being vision impaired is not as bad as it sounds, since most people wander around blind anyhow and don't even realize it.

And there are plenty of people in the world that have to turn every positive subject into a negative, but I won't let that stop me. I just hope you are never faced with losing a part of what made you who you were. Doesn't matter whether it is sight or a limb, it can leave people so far out of their comfort zone that it feels like you will never make it back. The article was intended to give people hope so they know that can move past it and I will keep writing them.
