The bees are insects belonging to the order Hymenoptera, of the superfamily Apoidea and having as subgroup the Anthophila, whose kinship extends to the wasps and the ants. Bees are social insects, which inhabit colonies and are old known to humans. They are of great use for the agriculture, since they promote intensely the pollination. Of all the genera of existing bees, the best known is Apis mellifera, coming from the "Old World", Europe. The breeding of this bee is made on a large scale by virtue of its great capacity to produce honey, wax, royal jelly, propolis and pollen.
The bees' vision is made from their five eyes, two large ones positioned in front of their head and three smaller ones at the top.
The bees do not perceive the color red, in contrast perceive the colors ultraviolet, blue, violet-blue, yellow, orange and green.
Bees are insects with great flying autonomy, reaching some species to reach the speed of 17 km / h while they fly.
