Chimay 150
A, an old memory. It must have been about 10 years ago when the CHimay brewery launched a celebratory beer in 75cl bottles, limited edition, in honour of their 150th birthday.
I had a couple of those bottles, and so did a friend. We liked that beer so much that we bought some extra bottles. I had the last 4 years ago, when he visited me for a birthday celebration.
AND NOW IT's BACK!!!
CHimay recently decided to launch a new beer, a CHimay 150. I'm picking up that it's basically that old recipe from 10 years ago which they finally decided to go and brew at large scale.
It comes in at a whopping 10ABV, but if you have the time to leisurely savour a beer, than give this one a try!
