India Pale Ale (IPA) is a beer style of English tradition. It is distinguished by its pronounced level of alcohol and hops. It was at the end of the seventeenth century, in 1790, that after numerous failed attempts, British brewers manage to find the exact point to reach this style of beer, which in turn should be able to tolerate a long journey by boat from Britain until the East Indies without expiring, or increase its bitter taste during the harsh climate change during the journey. Similar experiences had already had with their attempts to conquer distant markets transporting their flagship product at that time, the "Porter beer", the one preferred by Londoners.

Prior to the discoveries of pasteurization and refrigeration, the best allies of the brewers to avoid the expiration of their drinks were alcohol and hops. The first provides a hostile environment for the microbes and the second prevents the growth of bacteria that cause acidity. According to this, they stabilize, maintain and preserve intact the taste of beer in periods of long storage.

In conversation with Master Beer Carsten Zufall, I could agree that the new product is an opportunity that satisfies the demanding Venezuelan consumer in terms of brewing culture. Definitely, the tropic and the acceptance of the Venezuelan, allows to incorporate a product of this nature into the market. That is to say, he deserves it.
