Some of them are a little bit less dangerous because they die after a sting, some of their stings are more or less painful. People just know that all of them can sting. I’ll tell you something about their lives, their vital activity.

Bees are real workaholics: they are ready to work for their hive day and night. Every bee whole its life cares about the queen. Queen is the head bee, bees need her to produce their offspring. When it’s winter, all bees try to make comfortable conditions for their queen.
Bees never attack first because they die after their sting. They do it just to protect the hive, the queen or themselves in the hopeless situation. They leave their sting in the body of their enemy.
Bees are quite monotonous in their food: they just eat the flowers’ nectar. Moreover, the bees transferring the pollen. It helps the flowers and other plants to reproduce.
Bees are very useful for people too. Firstly, just these insects are able to make such a great, healthy and unbelievable honey. It’s very useful in our everyday lives and helps to treat many different diseases. The bees’ poison is very useful in medicine too.

Vital activity of wasps

The wasps are more lonely insects than bees. They don’t protect their queen. Adding to that fact, their queen postpones the larvae by herself.
Moreover, these insects are aggressive enough. They don’t die after the sting so they are able to sting at any moment if they just fear the dangerous or if your arm is stained by the sweet nectar fruit of something like that.
The wasps’ nutrition is diverse enough: they can eat the nectar, different fruits and berries; in the terms of town they can even eat different meat products. What’s more, they can eat other smaller insects. They also use them to provide with food the next generation.
Bees are really important for nature but they aren’t useful for people at all. They even don’t know how to do the sweet honey.
The hives of wasps are made from different kinds of waste so in the most cases they’re not useful for people too.

The bumblebees are one of the most cold-resistant kinds of insects. It lets them to fly in the early morning taking the first nectar, when the air hasn’t preheated enough yet. Moreover, the fast increasing of body’s temperature of bumblebee gives it a competitive advantage over other kinds of insects.
The queen and the working bumblebees can sting. This insect can use its sting many times without harming itself, unlike the bees which sting has barbs; the bumblebee’s sting doesn’t leave in the wound for this reason. The bumblebees are not aggressive but they can sting protecting their hive or if they have been harmed.
The bumblebees are «public» insects. They have a division: there are larger mushrooming females and barren worker bumblebees who are making the main works in their hives. In the big bumblebees’ hives are often 100-200 individuals.
The hives of bumblebees are often arranged in soil, litter, tree hollows, abandoned nests of rodents or birds.
Bumblebees owns a huge role in the pollination of different plants. They also play this role for people and have an economic importance as pollinators. Bumblebee’s family is often used for pollination of vegetables in greenhouses.

Vital activity of hornets

Hornets built the paper hives as other representatives of family. Some of these hives have about 10 tiers of cells. Unlike others, hornets collect rotten stumps and twigs of birch trees as a construction material so their nests are not gray but brown. They nest in hollows, in attics, in the tropic nests suspended from the branches of trees. They catch files, bees, often attack smaller wasps to feed the larvae. Adult insects feed on products containing a large amount of sugar (fruit juice, selection of aphids, honeydew and so on).
Adult hornets and their relatives feed on nectar and sugar-rich plant food. Because of that they can be seen on the effluent juice oak trees, on the rotting sugary fruits, honey and in fact on any products that contain sugar. Nevertheless, adults also prey on many insects. They kill them by powerful jaws and sting. The hornets are able to kill effortlessly large enough insects, including bees, grasshoppers, wasps and even locusts because of the size and the strength of the poison.
Hornets, like many social insects, are able to mobilize the whole their nest and sting the enemy for their own protection. It can be dangerous for animals and for people. Feeling the threat, hornet launches alarm pheromone. It’s a special substance that activates hornets to attack.
