Believe in Jesus: I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. John 12:46

The Gospel of John shows us Jesus as the only way to the Father, and to teach us better about this spiritual truth, the gospel of John presents us Jesus as the personification of the most important perfection of God, his eternal wisdom: "I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved" John 10:9; "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life" John 8:12. And proof of this were two practical cases that Jesus solved by capturing with his mind that wisdom from above, Jesus and the denarii: "So give back to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's" Matthew 22:21, and Jesus and the prostitute: "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her" John 8:7.
Jesus brought us with his word the wisdom of God, that wisdom that is like spiritual bread and water of life, because man lives not only on food and drink but also on what feeds his soul. When we talk about wisdom we talk about that spiritual light for man, because wisdom instructs in the ways of God, wisdom is precision and accuracy, and not only that, wisdom is gradual and progressive, and like a hidden treasure (Matthew 13:44), it leads us towards something more mysterious, the Gnosis, the act of internal illumination of the mind of the man, as Jesus taught to Nicodemus during a night: "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit" John 3:5.
It is for all this that Jesus in the Gospel of John, after entering the holy city of Jerusalem, taught:
"Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me. I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness" John 12:44-46.
Jesus with this teaching taught to us that he is the "son of man".
