The spiritual teachings of Jesus: And whoever lives by believing in me will never die, John 11:26

Jesus is the door, the entrance ("I am the door", John 10:9), to the true spiritual life of man: "I am the resurrection and the life", John 11:25. The bible compares the mind of the man to a tree with 4 branches: "The mind concerns itself with four things: these are good and evil, life and death. They all begin in the mind, but the tongue is the absolute ruler.", Sirach 37:17-18
In other words, human beings have a basic choice: the spirit that is good and life, and on the other hand the flesh that is sin and death. This is why the announcement of the Kingdom of God is so important, accepting Jesus is the passage from a life full of sins to a life of righteousness.
True conversion leads us to eternal life, that's why Jesus tells us in the Gospel of John: "And whoever lives by believing in me will never die", John 11:26

The kingdom of God has a very deep connotation, everything we do in this life is a preparation for the next. Some think "you only live once", when we understand that this statement is a heresy, a teaching of the error, it is when the mind is truly enlightened by faith and we are in the true life of God. The physical mind sets traps for us, because the physical mind itself cannot access to the truth.
Believing and living in Jesus means living the spiritual gifts, developing our own excellences: "Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect", Matthew 5:48; "Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful", Luke 6:36; "Be holy, because I am holy", 1 Peter 1:16
Death is simply the passage from one state to another, for Jesus true death is spiritual death, when men reject their link with the mysteries of wisdom, it is there that the works of the flesh are manifested: "The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissension, factions and envy, drunkenness, orgies and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.", Galatians 5:19-21.
