@bellyrub might have been a good vote-selling bot until recently. @zeartul might still be the owner of bellyrub. No matter if he still is the owner or not, you need to STOP sending money to this scammer!

@bellyrub is powering down everything. He has gone rogue and he is taking every single cent with him... And people are still trying to buy votes!

This entire scam started a couple of days ago.

We've had multiple posts about this already but I can still see several people sending him money in hopes of getting votes. - PLEASE STOP!

@bellyrub's owner ( @zeartul or not ) is nothing but a greedy asshole, squeezing every single cent out of everyone... And he has probably had this in mind for a long period of time.

Building a good following, reputation and being trustworthy. Gaining loyal customers and raking in money with this vote-selling bot has been his number 1 priority from the beginning.

To turn his back against everyone and literally stealing every single cent he's been able to earn might not have been his agenda from the beginning, but that doesn't matter at all.

He's a thief, a liar and a scam-artist.

  • And he is still making money due to loyal customers and the reputation he managed to build.

RESTEEM THIS FOR MORE VISIBILITY!

He has earned more than 100 SBD the past 40 hours or so, and he is still making more because people haven't realized that it's nothing but waste sending him money!

@bellyrub is taking everything he can. He power down everything and all transfers are going to the same account.

@zeartul is powering down too.. - A coincidence?

  • I think not.

STOP trying to buy more votes from @bellyrub, you'll give away your money for nothing!

Look at all this money!!

More than $21,000 in total .....

Good prior to this or not doesn't matter. If I knew that this would happen, I would never have bought a single vote from him. - This is terrible!

RESTEEM THIS SO HE DOESN'T EARN A SINGLE CENT MORE!!

This is actually good for the platform because if this is true, Bellyrub is giving vote selling a bad rep and maybe people will start looking for better alternatives like earning their votes, collaborating with others and maybe even using platforms promote system if it was made a bit more attractive to us

I don't encourage scams and I don't encourage stealing either. So I can't look at this as something good. However, I do understand what you mean and this might be a start for something better. I hope so.

I just wish that people don't continue to send him more sbd's, now when we know that he'll be leaving. What he already have been able to make due to his scam is more than enough. There's no reason for people to send him even more money.

Some people don't read a lot of posts on here ,like just their own and people on their follow list. Sending bellyrub 0.001 sbd with a warning might stop people who look at his wallet, but warning everyone who uses bellyrub is going to be really hard.....

There's probably been 10 different articles, if not more than that already, covering this topic. - And people are still sending bellyrub money.

I don't know what else I can do, except writing this myself too. This way, I can at least warn my own followers.

But yeah, sending people memo's about this could be some sort of solution too, but it would take literally hours to make all these transfers.

oh well with all these on going campaign against vote selling.. I think it's high time that they will make their exit with all the money they have earned so far.. but then again it will also be a good lesson for all those who buys vote instead of relying on quality contents and curation

Vote selling or not is a pretty good question. One could debate that subject for several hours. Scammers though, are not welcome here and I really don't want people to send him even more money, now when he's about to vanish from Steemit.

The decision has been made. He's leaving Steemit and he's taking every single cent with him. We can't stop that from happening, but we can make sure he doesn't earn even more during the time he's still around.

zeartul was a nice person.. it's his choice if he will stay or not.. but it's a good thing bellyrub have resteemed one of the post which says he is a scam.. and the good whales have flagged all his posts so yeah zeartul lost all his goodwill.. now he have two choice.. to leave completely or to come back using a new account and pretend like it's his first time on steemit

He might have been a nice person but money can change a man. If I understand things correct, he still claims to be innocent and he also acts like he is not the owner of bellyrub or the man who should be held responsible for this recent scam.

However, most of the evidence is based on data and the data is pointing towards him. - The blockchain does not lie.

Greed is not a financial issue. It's a heart issue.

I have not yet read every posts related to this scam.. but I think he now regrets his action.. he was able to build a big business.. but perhaps he turned into that owner of that chicken from the fairy tale which used to give one golden egg everyday but then cut the chicken so that he can have all the golden eggs together.. I can related this fairy tale with zeartul and bellyrub's case.. and by now a great deal of people have already learned about this and all the trust is gone and so is zeartul and his vote selling bot..

Vote selling is a cancer...

I can't say that I'm too fond about the vote-selling either.. But it's definitely here to stay. At least until a new HF. - However, no matter if you like vote selling or not, scammers are not welcome here.

Well, here's my view on it.

Yeah, scammers should go out of this place

Thanks for your good contents. That'll help people

I don't know if it will help people or not, but I hope this will help my own readers at least. It's basically the only thing I can do to prevent @bellyrub to scam people for even more money.

Ok

Didn't this thing start with something like "Give me X and in 3 months, I will give you back Y"

That's the easiest way to spot a possible scam I know of... where the scammer buys time to find other people to scam too.

the 45% apr that tell you its a scam.

Thank you for exposing this.
