The Government of Kenya orders registered companies to list their Beneficial Owners.

Companies have up to 31st January 2021 to comply. Failure to submit the information could lead to legal action.

Section 93A Companies Act 2015

Companies (Beneficial Ownership Information) Regulations, 2019 (the “Regulations”)

Further guidance has been provided in the Guide on Disclosure of Beneficial Ownership Information.
