(This is my old writing that I wrote 12-1-2014) It has become a weekly event, every Sunday we gather for cycling. That day the "goweser" had gathered at the "tikum" gathering point in the combatants' housing preparing to head to the BKT (East Flood Kanal), the BKT route was perfect for beginners and suitable for training events. On the right side of the BKT is provided for a special bicycle lane.
This track is for beginners worth trying, not bad for endurance training. The air on both sides of the BKT is still fresh on either side. Especially if you want to go to Marunda, if you trace the BKT water flow, to the marunda highway to the north (end of the BKT) it will go to the Marunda sea. At the end of the sea to the left of BKT there are several flats or rusunawa as well as a marunda beach which is usually a recreation area. Sundays .. quite a lot of people fishing and people traveling just sightseeing or maybe want to stop by si pitung's house. The house of Pitung's historical legends, is still neatly maintained. The goweser can visit there, just put the bicycle on the right side of the pitung's house. There is a small shop there, for those who want coffee or just hot tea and snacks available there. The shopkeeper is sweet enough to wash your eyes, which is sure to feel comfortable eating and drinking there, accompanied by the shopkeeper.
