What do you think is the most important thing to conveying the texture and feel of the fur? I bought a bunch of furs and I am trying to figure how to light it to really make the people who look at the picture feel the furs in the pic.

i am not sure... if you want more detail you need harder light. but 'hard light ' is not alway nice for the skin of a model. so what i do is place smaller softboxes of a small angle to the camera. so in this case almose on the floor!
