I might be late, I'm driving home now but the light is going to be perfect really soon, and I'm seeing it's going to be beautiful in a moment.
This happens a lot when the sun is low at the end of the day, the colors are shifting dramatically, and I start to get excited. I'll take some roads I've never taken before, and just follow my intuitions. I stumbled into this drive in theatre in a beautiful rural area on the way home to Montreal from Toronto. It was closed for the season, but I can see from the signage that they are still in business during the summer season, and how the locals must really enjoy this entertainment space. The people gathering from the area and making it a special place for that perfect time during the year. I snapped this on my Fujifilm gw670, with Kodak Portra 400 film. The colors were absolutely gorgeous beyond words. This is an image I will print big for sure.
