- So you wanna make money from home? Well, awesome. This is LeahRae from toddandleahrae.com, and I'm gonna give you seven different work from home job websites that you can get started with today, and make money from the very comfort of your home. Now some of these are freelance jobs where you get paid for different tasks or jobs that you do one-offs. While others are just regular hourly jobs. So you are definitely sure to find something that meets your needs.
And if you wanna know our number one recommendation for making money online, make sure to click the link at the top of the description. Now the first site is called Sigtrak. Sigtrak offers freelance data entry jobs. Data entry, where you're inputting data into their system. I hear people all the time wondering about data entry jobs online, well, this is it. Now, you may be working with some voter information, so legally, you're going to have to be able to show that you have US residency. They also require that you have dual monitors. I saw some feedback on the site where some people did it with one screen. Instead, when they finally months later got a second monitor, they were really excited, and wow, I didn't do this sooner, it's so easy. You can pick up an extra monitor super easy on Craigslist, on the Facebook sites. Actually, I went on a rummage sale one time. They're everywhere and even brand new, they're not that expensive. Now from their site, you can actually get the application process started. It will require a quick three minute Skype interview to prove your identity and your residency.
Now you get paid per job. This is a freelancing, so you're gonna see a job, decide if you wanna take it, and it's gonna have a certain amount of money that it's gonna pay you for that job. But you are going to have to be accurate. You will actually get docked pay if you aren't accurate with data entry. And they pay via PayPal every Friday. Number two, Zirtual. Now I don't know if that's the right way to pronounce that, but that's how I'm gonna pronounce that. Now this is a company that often hires remote virtual assistants. And at the time that I'm shooting this video, they are currently hiring. If you're watching this later, just go to their site and see what they have available. And you can check on it occasionally, but right now, they are hiring people to work virtually from home, from 9 a.m.
Pacific time to 6 p.m. Pacific time. And their pay ranges from $13 an hour to $18 an hour. It does require a minimum of an associate's degree, and six month's administrative experience. You gotta be decent at computers, good with the internet, understand Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and be able to type at least 50 words per minute. Plus you're going to have to clear a background check and reference checks. This is a full-blown job, not some freelance gig, so there are more requirements to it, but there's also more benefits, and it is full-time. Now number three, 24/7 Virtual Assistant. This is a company that offers virtual assistants to small businesses. And if you're interested in working with them, you simply send your resume to [email protected]. And if you are fluent in a second language, make sure that you specify that. They see that as a really big benefit, as they have clients from all over the world looking for help. They're gonna pay typically 10 to $12 an hour. And you are hired per job. Once they have your resume, when they find a client that fits your resume well, that's when they'll make the connection, and you can get that specific job for that client.
And clients are typically looking just for part-time help, anywhere from 20 hours to 120 hours a month. Number four, ListVerse. ListVerse is a neat little place you can get paid $100 per list article. This is where you write up an article that is a list. This video is essentially the same sort of thing, where I'm giving you a list of things. Same idea. You write an article that is a list of something. You do need to be a native English speaker. It's supposed to be a little quirky. They want you to have a sense of humor and a love for things that are unusual or interesting. Now, each article of lists, each list article that you write, needs to have a minimum of 10 things in the list, and you simply send it in to them. They'll say, yeah great, that's awesome, we'll use it, we'll publish it. And they send you $100 through PayPal. Or they'll reply, sorry, it isn't the sort of thing that our readers would be interested in, but give it another shot. And you can try again. Now this is open worldwide as long as you can have a PayPal account because they're only paying through PayPal.
They don't make any exceptions. But this can be a really good fit for people, if you enjoy writing, if you're a little quirky, have a good sense of humor. And you wanna do something on your own time, because after the kids go down to bed at night, you can just sit and come up with a nice little article, send it in, poof (snaps) hundred bucks. And don't get disheartened if your very first one isn't accepted. Go to their website, see what they are publishing, learn from that, and try again. But once you fine-tune exactly what they're looking for, whenever you wanna make money, just send in an article. You could send in 50 articles, there's no limits. And if it's good, they're gonna publish it and you make $100. Number five, The Social Element. The is a company that offers other companies social media management. Now they hire most of their folks remotely. Right now at the time of this shooting, they have openings as regular employees in the HR department that you can work remotely from home.
They also have many openings for moderator and engagement specialists. These are the people that are actually going to be working, doing the hands-on work for the clients, monitoring their social media, creating content, making sure it's a safe and positive environment for their customers. Now you do get hired per project. This is a freelance gig, and they really are looking for multilingual people. People who speak Spanish, Swedish, whatever, and speak English. So head to their website, look at what jobs are currently hiring for, and if it's a good fit, go for it. Number six, Userlytics. This is a website that pays you to test websites and apps. So when people are creating new apps or when they're creating new websites, they need people to test them and see if there's any bugs or issues that they run into. It's a great way to make money just whenever you have a few extra minutes. They will pay you anywhere from $5 to $90 per test, and it really depends on how much is involved and how long it's gonna take you to complete it. Now they have open projects in Europe, North America, South Africa, Southeast Asia, Japan, China, and many other countries.
So you just have to click the link in their website to see what projects they have for your country. But again, this is a nice one to do whenever you have some extra time. Only have 20 minutes? Go find a test that you can do that's just gonna take you that long, and make some money with it. And number seven, FocusGroup.com. Now this is where you get paid for giving your opinion. You're an opinionated person? This is a perfect stay at home job for you. You're essentially just giving your opinion to companies. And you can do this live in person in focus groups, if they're happening in your local area. Or there's a lot of opportunity with them online as well. And they do focus groups online, they do interviews, they do online surveys. They even do things in real life where you actually just shop, (laughs) you go shopping and they have someone with you who's asking you questions about your buying decisions as you're shopping.
Tons of opportunity. If you like to give your opinion, it's a great thing. Again, you get paid per job, so another great thing to do after kids go down, or when you have a few extra minutes, go in and fill out a survey. Or if you have a day off, you can sign up to do a live focus group in your area. You will get paid more for doing the live stuff, versus the online. But with everything that they offer, there's a great opportunity to be able to fit things in in the nooks and crannies of your day, and make good money.
Now, they actually pay through a prepaid Visa. So anything that's done live, at the end of the session, they hand you a prepaid Visa card. Anything that's done online, you actually accumulate points in their system that you can cashout in the form of a prepaid Visa. Now remember, if you're wanting to create more leveraged income, where you're not just trading your time for money, make sure that you click the link at the top of the description to check out our number one recommendation for making money online.
