I told my renal nurses that I wanted to go for a thrice and twice a week dialysis in an alternate schedule so that I can get dialyzed ten times per month instead of 8 sessions for the reason that I wanted to use the unlimited health insurance until December 19th of this year.
Also I wanted to get cleaned better with my blood so that my Potassium level will get checked and not remain high lest I will get heart problems or my heart to stop.
The consequence of a frequent session is for one thing is extra time and effort that my parents have to spend just to prepare me up which is really causing them much trouble because of my unfortunate situation.
Then I am also thinking of the expenses since for every visit to the dialysis center I have to pay for the extra bills that is charged to me amounting in $12.5 in dollars amount not to mention the expenses for gas and food.
So to cut back in extra expenses that I will have to cough out I will just revert back to twice weekly sessions. I think that I can be able to do it, I had been a dialysis patient for about 19 years now and everyday really is a struggle for me especially with my bone condition in which I also have to medicate with Cinacalcet.
My main concern was to not give my parents extra trouble when I need to go to the dialysis center more frequently plus saving the money that I use to pay for the two extra sessions per month is a big deal as well and I can just use it to buy Cinacalcet so that I can be able to continue to improve my bone pain condition.
