Title: Internet of Coins Launches Hybrid Asset on Multiple Blockchains

Internet of Coins is decentralized environment for personal finance that links blockchains together. As a decentralized platform it enables an optimally inclusive financial network, interlinking all digital forms of value without requiring changes in code on the end of the individual value systems.
Swaps on the network are done through hybrid assets. These tokens don't have their own blockchain but are built on multiple blockchains, and can be interchanged between them.

Using advanced distributed ledger technology should be available for everyone, whether it's you, me, your parents or grandparents. It should be as easy as sending an e-mail.

I agree. I did read your Dec 2014 whitepaper, and it doesn't talk about this aspect. It sounds like hybridd just unifies blockchains and tokens through a hive and swarm network. Quite a complex system if it works.

I hope you address how hybridd will make it easier so my parents and my grandparents (which are dead btw, sorry had to interject some sad humor) will find holding and using bitcoin, litecoin, or peercoin as investments will be just as easy as sending an email. That's the part I'm most interested in.. :)

@intelliguy you're a cynic. Nah, just hoping hybridd turns out to really be this good. I had to ask.

Indeed the whitepaper is dated, and doesn't mention the ease of use we are currently building into the platform, nor other aspects like the weavechain for inter-blockchain swaps and escrow. We have more to add to it and make it up to date.

The GUI is currently in alpha testing, and there is still heavy lifting to be done before it can go beta. Our goal is to deliver a node that users can log in to from the web, and use cryptocurrencies from there, or - if they are more technical - host their own node at home and make the network stronger. And we have a strong focus on usability. There is still a lot of UX development to get there, and the challenge for us is to make sure the browser environment is as safe and secure as it is useful.

Excellent reply. Thank you very much.
