The Bones Of One That Was Dead Bring A Dead Man Back To Life

As it is written, And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet. 2 Kings 13:21.

So the bones of Elisha had so much anointing in his bones that they brought up that dead man. Why not? In his life Elisha did bring up the dead.

It is a form of things to come. Jesus in his life brought up the dead. He told his twelve disciples to raise the dead. As it is written, Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils freely ye have received, freely give. Matthew 10:8.

I remember another thing about an anointing staying with bones. Remember Samson with a jawbone of an ass and his fight with a thousand Philistines? Well he killed a thousand Philistines with that jawbone of an ass.

Remember when he won that battle and he threw the jawbone down, then cried unto the Lord for water?

As it is written, But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof Enhakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day. Judges 15:19.

In my mind this jawbone of an ass must have come from a special ass. So what ass is so special that God clave an hollow place in his jaw that water would flow?

Well their is mention of an ass that is mentioned in both Old and New Testaments. It was of the ass that talked. As it is written, And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? Numbers 22:28.

It is also spoken of this same ass as it is written,But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 2 Peter 2:16.

So God opened the mouth of Balaam's ass. What is the part of the mouth that opens? Is it not the jaw? It is the first and last time I read of an ass talking and it is mentioned in both New and Old Testaments.

I think it is this ass's jaw bone that God clave a hollow place that was in the jaw that water came out of that revived Samson.
