THE ONLY VIA

The central theological episteme of the Christian religion is to consider Jesus, triumphant of pain and death, the mediator who freed us from all sins. "Therefore, there is no longer any condemnation for those who are united to Christ Jesus" (Romans 8: 1). A Christian, expressed here as a person "united to Christ Jesus," can not be condemned for sins and will not be separated from God for eternity.
We are justified by faith, NOT ours, the faith of Jesus.

Knowing that man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, we have also believed in Jesus Christ, to be justified by the faith of Christ and not by the works of the law, because works of the law will no one be justified (Galatians 2:16)

It is Jesus who has the power and authority to save us. Divine justice is granted to man by the faith of Christ, by giving his life for our redemption.
This situation and condition of salvation encompasses both the sins committed and those to be committed.

Well, I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, nor the present nor the future, nor the powers, nor the height nor the depth, nor anything in all of creation, can separate us from love. that God has made us manifest in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8: 38-39).

This messianic expectation is a light that appears from Genesis, and it is shaping up throughout the Old Testament and intensifying in the New Testament as the eschatological experience of the end of time approaches.

so also Christ was offered only once to bear the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, unrelated to sin, to save those who wait for him (Hebrews 9:28).

Peace with God the Father is possible today because Jesus has reopened us the way. The resurrection comes through him. Risen and at the right hand of God, intercede for us. He is our mediator.

Because there is only one God, and only one mediator between God and men, Jesus Christ, man, (1Timothy 2: 5)

There was a time when man could speak with God the Father: Then only with his prophets. Today, we can NOT talk to him.

Not like the covenant I made with their fathers on the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; Because they did not abide in my covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord (Hebrews 8: 9).

Only through Jesus can we be saved so that we can be in the presence of God the Father again. It is the guarantee that guarantees the triumph of divine designs in history, the prevalence of good over evil.

5 He saved us, not for works of righteousness that we would have done, but for his mercy, for the washing of regeneration and for the renewal in the Holy Spirit,
6 which he poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that justified by his grace, we would come to be heirs according to the hope of eternal life
. (Titus 3: 4-7)

We can not do anything to change this situation or our salvation. Only Jesus can do it and he will. So he promised.

I give them eternal life and they will never perish, nor can anyone take them from my hand. (John 10:28)

The promised salvation is a second creation, which is an essentially divine work, because nothing that the human being does can change his condition as a sinner, subject and object of death.

I give them eternal life and they will never perish, nor can anyone take them from my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; and from the hand of the Father no one can snatch them (John 10: 28-29).

Jesus is the only way of salvation. Certainly, the salvation of a Christian is eternally assured by those who have the power and authority to guarantee it. Nobody can take them away. Not even ourselves.

Did Jesus lie?
