"How can we, few as we are, fight with such a strong host?"
It's a difficult idea to wrap our brains around: we live in our bubble and everyone around us things similarly to us. But the reality is that most people do not exert the time or mental energy to pursue the truth and will go with the herd. Although it's tricky walking contrary to the herd, it's the wicked shepherds that want to cull us out. We are discovering that they have infiltrated almost every institution and they zealously proselytize their wicked ideology.
1st Maccabees
Every year around this time, we read the book of the Maccabees. It's a reminder for us that the Most High is with His people, even in times of distress and tribulation.
When the odds appear against us and all seems lost, is it reasonable to think that the Creator of the universe has looked away from us?
The key to understanding tribulation is found in Chapter 3, verses 19-22. The people are weak and hungry and outnumbered. The situation looks lost and it seems hopeless. But Yehuda Maccabeus reminds the people that strength is not in numbers, but strength in trust in the Most High. Yehuda calls Him "Heaven".
Even if all seems lost and it seems like evil wins, we will see the Most High give GLORY to His name, that the nations see and hear of these things and tremble in fear.
He will CRUSH THEM before us...
...and you must not be afraid of them.
IF we fear God, we cannot fear the enemy, because as David writes:
In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me? Psalm 56
And the Son of David said:
Fear not those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear HIM who can destroy both the soul and body in Gehenna. Matthew 10:28
I'll admit, these are nice intellectual concepts, but practically speaking, when the pressure is on, how strong is our faith? Are we willing loose the world to gain our soul?
Some thoughts to think about.

Bless the Most High!

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin
We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.
No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13
Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny
Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations. Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.
