i assume jesus was a prophet, but prophecy is just interpretation , so if you dont have the big picture, it will be a small world prophecy which just wont rhyme with reason. did jesus know about the big bang and that the big bang wasnt the beginning? did jesus have a computer? did jesus know anything about quanta, photoelectric effect, emptiness blah blah blah?
