I love the King James version of the Bible. the true preserved edition of Gods Holy word.
Philippians 4 :13 says "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me".
Many people mis- quote this verse completely changing its context. In the study of the Bible context is so important for rightly dividing Gods word. many times we see it written or hear it quoted as I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Is the bible really promising that Christ will help us do all things? I dont think so. The list of ALL things contains many horrible and even evil things. Will Christ help someone sin? Will Christ help someone cheat on their spouse? Will Christ help someone lie, steal, rape or kill?? Will Christ help you find something more important to do than read your bible and draw closer to Him? No, No, and again I say no. I dont think He will help us do those things . What things will Christ help us do? As this verse says when read correctly is "I can do all things, through Christ, which strengtheneth me". What things will Christ help me do? The answer is He will help me do all things which strengthen me. All things which strengthen me are anything that helps me be a better person. A better Father. A better Husband. A better Christian. Christ will not help me do ALL things. In His word he promises to help me do all things which strengthen me. Thanks for reading this post. God bless you.

I have a dog tag with this verse stamped into it :)

When I threw out the corrupted "Bible" versions and started reading the KJV, His word became more clear to me in so many ways. It was almost like a having scales removed from my eyes.

"the true preserved edition of Gods Holy word." Wouldn't the language the text was written in be the "true" edition?
