Bicycle Onthel (Roadster bike) or also called camel bike, kebo bike, or pit pancal is a standard motor type with 28 inch tires commonly used by urban communities until the late 1970s.

In countries such as the Netherlands, Banglade Pakistan, China, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, and some other countries, this bike model is still widely used by both urban and rural communities.

Even an Indian bike manufacturer called "Hero Cycles" still produces ontel bikes up to now and is sold in the Indian market and used by the people there for transportation, trade, agriculture, etc.

In the Netherlands bike ontel models have been made more modern and equipped with lights. In China, this bike model is still commonly used as in India. Use in South Asian countries, this "ontel" bike model is still commonly used by the middle to lower class.

In Indonesia, this ontel model bike is now commonly used for commercial purposes and is still used in villages mainly for agricultural purposes.

In the Old Town of Jakarta, North Jakarta bicycle ontel is still used by motorcycle taxis and as a vehicle for tourists there.

In India there are many manufacturers producing this type of bike. The number which gets sold every year must be in the millions in India alone

May i know whether in india this bike is mostly worn by rural or urban people ??? @twowheeledmonkey

Both actually. It's ridiculously low cost, durability and image as a workhorse over the years has made this the automatic choice for most budget buyers.

Means in India is still active this onthel motor yes...,, In my place (ACEH) this onthel motor has started to disappear.
