This is pretty good analysis, but the most important thing to remember in all of this is that absolutely anytime a maga person or a trump person claims that they have even the slightest problem with using high office to gain business advantage, with the children of powerful people using connections to make money, with giving gifts and favors and bribes to people in high office or their children—anytime any of these people tries to claim anything of the sort, just remember that they are all goddamn fucking liars lying through the disgusting mouth-holes on their sweaty, greasy faces.
The only reason these people ever pretend to care about any actual principle is so that they can weaponize it against Trump's opponents. That's it. Because the only thing they actually care about is Trump's power.
