The main character in the movie, Edward Bloom, tells his family, his son the story of his life. According to him, his life was just like a fairy tale.
There is a touch of surrealism in every event of his life. The story of seeing one's own death in the eyes of a witch as a child,
becoming a hero of one's own city through extraordinary talent and various brave deeds, befriending a giant man,
the story of one day living in a beautiful spectacle city like the imagination behind the eyes of the whole world,
He claims that his son has been working in the circus for three months without pay, only at the end of the month to find out an unknown information about his girlfriend, i.e. his wife, etc.
But his son thinks his father is lying, a deep wound in his life, a fabrication to hide his sins. So, he doesn't have a very good relationship with his father.
