I may disagree with Bill Gates that we have a population problem (I don’t think we have an overpopulation problem), but to frame him as so sort of murderous villain seems insane to me.
His goals are to reduce needless deaths in third world countries by better health care like in first word countries that have reduced child mortality down to almost nothing. That is something I can support. Not because of some climate agenda, but because it reduces needless suffering and death. Parents in third word shitholes will no longer be required to make 6 children in hopes that 2-3 will make it to adulthood. With lower child mortality rates, this leads those parents to not have 5-6 kids of which many will suffer and die.
So although I disagree with Bill on overpopulation, his goals are not based around harming and murdering others. His goals, like mine (and most of us) is to make the world a better place. He also puts his own money where his mouth is and funds his programs primarily voluntarily through the market.
