Thank you for your reply @steemitleee. I tend to agree with you on the matter of positivity.

Do you believe it is also important to be aware of the negative aspects of the world, or is it best to ignore them completely from start to finish?

Being aware of what is going on in the world is fine, but most people tend to focus on what they don't want and what is bad in this world when what they should really be focusing on is what they want and how things could be better. You draw toward you more of what you think about. So if you're always focusing on what's wrong then you tend to draw more of that into your world. It's more difficult than you might think, and it takes a shift in mindset.
