Selective Color - Sparrow

Sparrows, like squirrels, are plenty around here! They can eat, and they always are at my feeders. I love watching them, but some time, I would prefer them to leave some seeds for other birds too.

Nice color splash Icy. I love seeing the little birds. There are a couple little junco birds coming around here.

Thank you! Juncos are rare to see for me..They only come at a certain time in the season, and then disappear until next season..I love watching them..

Lovely capture @icybc. beautiful photography. 😊

Thank you!

Cool how this photo makes the normally drab brown wings look stunning. I'm gonna have to start playing with selective colors. Very neat effect.

Thank you! I like playing with this effect more than monochrome or sepia...

The birdie looks really pretty. I like the drab of yellow/brown on the monochrome too. It creates a very unique effect on the birdie.

I really like that subtle splash of colour on the shades of grey and white. Very nice..😊

Thank you..

Lovely photograph of the sparrow, quite a handsome little chap that one. I'm sure they are very good at munching all the seeds, fun little characters to watch though.

Nice photo. Where do you live. I'm an avid birder, and user of Steemit. Good choice to use # birding This helps the birding community on Steemit find good content. Check out @birdersofsteem I just started this site as a way for birders to support birders. Good birding.

Thank you! I love nature..

Nice one. I live in a place where there are so many birds, and it's fun to watch them all, but my favourite thing is to listen to their songs. :)

It is so nice to be in tune with nature! I can tell what sounds the robins made, cardinal, blue jays, gold finches and northern flickers made :-)
