One thing I really find amazing is that birds can build flocks of several thousand individual birds and still don't have flight accidents getting each other in the way. Sometimes these flocks look very coordinated and in a special formation, but some flocks look like chaos to the human eye, even though it is for sure not for the birds. In September last year, I was able to take several pictures of birds flocks in the sky. I am not sure anymore, but I assume it was a flock of starlings. When I zoom in, I still cannot identify one single bird, so I am not 100% sure.

Some time I wish I could be a bird for some days enjoying the magic of flying on my own, enjoying the freedom you must have when flying high in the sky. Maybe I will wake up as a bird in my next life. :-) Imperial Eagle or Curlew would be nice.
