Bar-headed goose: The highest flying bird in the world

The Bar-headed goose, an Asian goose, is said to be the highest-flying bird; it flies over the Himalayas and crosses the mountain range in about eight hours. It reaches such massive heights by flapping its wings vigorously and is mostly dependent on its muscular power to achieve this feat.
The Anhinga or Snakebird

The Anhinga is also known as Snakebird or Darter. When it swims with just its neck and head above water, it looks like a snake slithering on water and thus got named as Snakebird. It impales its prey and swallows it head-first.
